Indivisible Montgomery for the Win is a phone and text bank project focused on the presidential and senate elections in key battleground states. Our goal is to energize the voting base in these critical states to propel Joe Biden to the presidency and to ensure Democrats win control of the Senate.

We have selected four states–North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia and Colorado–that have competitive Senate races and are also crucial for winning the presidency. We are also making calls with Reclaim Our Vote, a campaign of the Center for Common Ground, NAACP and other groups fighting voter suppression targeted at voters of color in eight southern states.

We are committed to doing all we can to win these races. We’re striving to reach a wide audience and make it easy to get involved. To that end, we’re using a centralized, automated signup and notification system shared by other grassroots groups and managed by our friends at J Walkers Action Group.

In Arizona, we are supporting Mark Kelley for the Senate. From Mark’s website:

Through 25 years in the Navy and at NASA, I learned how to solve really tough problems, and I also learned to get along with and lead people from different backgrounds and different opinions in service of a greater mission. Unlike the federal government, the International Space Station can’t just shut down when people don’t get along. And when you’re orbiting the Earth at 25 times the speed of sound and bad stuff starts to happen, you have to work the problem as a team, and you can’t dismiss ideas based on the politics of the person offering them.

In Colorado, we are supporting John Hickenlooper for the Senate. From John’s website:

John is running for Senate to make Washington work for Coloradans. Just like he’s done throughout his career, he will use his independent perspective to bring people together to get things done — from lowering health care and prescription drug costs to keeping our families safe from gun violence, as well as protecting the state’s public lands while combating climate change.

In Georgia, we are supporting Raphael Warnock for the Senate. From Raphael’s website:

As Senator, Reverend Warnock will bring to Washington the concerns of struggling Georgia families who wonder why no one is looking out for them. He will focus on fighting for quality, affordable health care, for the dignity of working people who are paid too little as our government works more for Wall Street, and to make sure every voice is heard.

In North Carolina, we are supporting Cal Cunningham for Senate. From Cal’s website:

Growing up in the small town of Lexington, Cal learned what it meant to serve from the church youth group leaders who took him on service projects in Appalachia. Working on the family brickyard, Cal learned the value of hard work and the dignity that comes with a job. At the foot of his father, a small town lawyer who took on his neighbors’ causes as his own, Cal learned that, oftentimes, justice requires a fight. And at Fort Bragg and abroad, the paratroopers, Reservists and special operators Cal served with in the Army taught Cal a deeper form of patriotism and honor.

These values are North Carolina values, and they are what will guide Cal as North Carolina’s next U.S. Senator, where he’s committed to putting the seat back to work for the people of the state he loves and has called home his entire life.

We are proud to support Joe Biden for President and Kamala Harris as Vice President.
